After the major release of the 24th Bond movie in 2015, Spectre, we can’t help but look back on the entire series of Bond films since it all began in 1962 with Dr. No.  While numerous actors have played James Bond over the years, ranging from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, we can’t ignore the underlying anticipation that many viewers have for each film that is released, the unveiling of the new “Bond girl.”

The role of Bond girl has been highly sought out by Hollywood actresses over the years, and casting directors make no mistake determining who will win over the desirable role(s) with each film.  Let’s take a look back at all of the Bond women over time, most of whom were given their “big break” with the major debut.

Daniela Bianchi

Starring alongside Daniel Craig and Eunice Grayson in From Russia with Love, Italian actress, Daniela Bianchi, played the character of Tatiana Romanova, a Soviet Cipher clerk. As first runner-up in 1960’s Miss Universe pageant, the ballet dancer and fashion model had her first major break when she was cast as one of the original Bond girls.
