After the major release of the 24th Bond movie in 2015, Spectre, we can’t help but look back on the entire series of Bond films since it all began in 1962 with Dr. No.  While numerous actors have played James Bond over the years, ranging from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, we can’t ignore the underlying anticipation that many viewers have for each film that is released, the unveiling of the new “Bond girl.”

The role of Bond girl has been highly sought out by Hollywood actresses over the years, and casting directors make no mistake determining who will win over the desirable role(s) with each film.  Let’s take a look back at all of the Bond women over time, most of whom were given their “big break” with the major debut.

Shirley Eaton

1960’s sex symbol, Shirley Eaton, was greatly known for her brief role as Jill Masterson, the woman painted in all gold, in the 1964 Bond film, Goldfinger. Eaton, however, chose to retire shortly after this role due to a long career of modeling and acting since the early 50s.
