Early in Titanic, viewers see Rose contemplate jumping off the ship and committing suicide. Luckily, Jack Dawson was there to save the day. He spoke to her about his childhood days. “I remember when I was a kid, me and my father would go ice fishing on Lake Wissota,” Jack said to Rose. She then continues to scold him when he tried to tell her what ice fishing is. The Titanic sunk in 1912. Lake Wissota was formed by a man-made dam in 1917. Again, something most people would never catch on to…thankfully!
